DVD Video
Pioneer in-dash screens are a natural replacement for the traditional CD or even cassette unit. Models are available in single- or 2-DIN sizes to suit a majority of dashboard variations. These units are integrated with DVD players so that DVD movies are available to bring the screen to life. Pioneer's experience in screen technology ensures that you enjoy great image quality.

All screens are motorised so that an ideal viewing angle can be selected and memorised. The screen then returns to that location whenever the unit is powered up. Different players have advanced features such as Bookmark Play where the spot that you left off can be memorised for the next time you insert that movie disc. Off course there are the expected featrures such as subtitle and soundtrack selection, plus fast forward/reverse and chapter search.

HDMI Interface
This Pioneer DVD player features HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface), an industry-supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface.

For example, combine this DVD player with the Pioneer VSX-1017AV A/V receiver and a Pioneer plasma, and HDMI’s all-digital signal processing gives you superior pictures and sound –with no loss. It does this by allowing transmission of both audio and video signals with no D/A or A/D conversion, through a single-cable connection.

The DV-600AV-S and DV-400V-S are even capable of 1080p upscaling.

Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration System (MCACC)
MCACC allows you to duplicate the acoustic environment of the mixing studio, where recordings and soundtracks are mixed and mastered. With the Pioneer A/V receivers, the system, - complete with a microphone – compensates for differences in speaker size, speaker level and speaker distance, and equalizes response with 5-band EQ, all automatically.

MP3 and WMA Playback
Don't let your favorite music downloads languish on your computer hard drive. Burn them to a CD-R or CD-RW and play them on your Pioneer CD Tuner. Each disc you burn has the capacity to hold up to ten complete albums of MP3 music and twenty for WMA discs. Trust us, that's a lot of music. And since these CDs hold so much data, you'll be happy to know that Pioneer MP3 headunits also include a random play mode. You'll also be pleasantly surprised to find that our players support ID3 Tags and WMA text, which display artist, title, track and album information, just like your computer.

Sound Retriever
Compressed audio files such as WMA, MP3 and MPEG-4 AAC are a great way to store and carry music, but reduced file size means compromised sound quality. Pioneer’s Sound Retriever DSP technology offers a solution to this problem – by restoring the audio data lost during the compression process. USB Terminal
The USB terminal on this player allows connection with USB mass storage class devices, for easy playback of WMA/MPEG-4 AAC/MP3 music files or JPEG still photo files.
