Whereis® covers more than 99 per cent of the Australian population and draws from the rich databases of Yellow Pages® and UBD® information to present more than 700,000 points of interest.
Fast and accurate car GPS positioning
The AVIC-F30BT and AVIC-F930BT have a built-in 3D gyroscope and are connected to
your car.
Multi-sensor navigation ensures accurate, pinpoint positioning even when the
GPS signal is weak,
in tunnels and built-up cities for example.
This makes in-car GPS often more reliable than portable navigation.
Monitor your driving efficiency
ECO Drive monitors how economically you are driving and gives you an ECO Score based on your environmental impact. Updated throughout the trip, your ECO Score adapts as you drive. Apart from helping the environment, the ECO Drive feature is a great way to see how you can drive more cost-effective.
AVIC Feeds can analyse driving habits over a period of time to suggest how to be more economical with your fuel.
Please note: The ECO driving functions are an estimate of the real time fuel consumption to average fuel consumption ratio and is not an actual value.
Some of the features of this device do not take in to consideration the type of vehicle it is installed into.
SUNA for traffic info
SUNA GPS Traffic Updates gives you live, up-to-date traffic information through the Pioneer AVIC unit.
SUNA is a brand new service in Australia. Using information provided by SUNA, not only can your AVIC device get you to your destination, but you can now be advised of congestion on your planned route, how long a delay might be and the reason why.
Personalise with AVIC Feeds
Available for PC and smartphones, AVIC Feeds enables you to create and add your own points of interest (using Google maps for example) and generate fuel and Eco reports.

Intuitive touch screen
With a fast-response touch screen, operating the unit becomes a breeze. The
hi-res WVGA display is vivid and clear, even in direct sunlight.
The interface is designed to be as intuitive as possible, so you can keep your
focus on the road at all times.
Anti-theft features
A password secures AVIC systems. The AVIC-F930BT is equipped with a
detachable front piece that you can easily store in any bag or pocket. Removing this part
renders the unit useless to thieves.
Integration in your car
If your car is equipped with a rear-view camera, you can monitor it on the screen, making it easy to park in narrow spaces.
For visual integration, all systems' button illumination can be adjusted to
match any car's own.
The fun part
Excellent sound quality
All units feature a 4 x 50W MOSFET amplifier for clear, rich audio. Furthermore, selected models have high-end components making your music really come to life.
Auto EQ analyses your car characteristics and automatically configures front and rear speakers separately for a sound field tailored to your car (optional microphone required). An 8-band graphic EQ lets you manually tune the audio to your taste.
If you want to take it further, 3 RCA Pre-outs are on tap to connect additional amps, speakers or subs (hi-volt pre-outs on the AVIC-F30BT).
Play CDs, DVDs, compressed audio/video from USB or SD card
AVIC systems play DVDs and CDs. As for compressed file formats: MP3, WMA, AAC,
MPEG-4 audio from CD, DVD, SD card* or USB storage is supported. DivX video can be played from CD or DVD.
Non-Apple portable music players (like Microsoft Zune, Sandisk or Creative MP3 players) can be
connected via an aux in.
You can also stream audio from your Bluetooth-enabled device (see below).

Special iPod, iPhone functionality and iTunes app support
With the iPod Direct connection, you can control your iPod or iPhone (compatible models) from the touch screen for safety and convenience.
App Mode lets you enjoy audio and video from iPod touch and iPhone apps like YouTube and internet radio, photo, video, game and other apps.
Stream audio via Bluetooth

Simultaneous navigation and audio/video playback
When you install extra screens, to the headrests for example, you can use the navigation while your passengers enjoy a media source of their choice.
With Dual Zone, the AVIC-F30BT even lets you enjoy 2 different media: 1 on the main screen and 1 on the extra screens. Listen to your iPod, while you play a dvd in the back, and you can still use the navigation of course.
Bluetooth pairing without hassle
Seamless Bluetooth connection with your phone
Once paired, whenever you enter your vehicle, a wireless connection is established. You can leave your phone anywhere in the car or even in your pocket. You'll clearly hear the voice on the other end sounding through your speakers. An external driver's microphone is included.
Register up to 5 phones
The Parrot Bluetooth module remembers up to 5 phones: a convenient feature for family, friends and/or colleagues.
Transfer your phone contacts
Up to 1,000 contacts can be transferred from your phone to your sat nav system. This way, you can dial your contacts directly from the system without even browsing your phone.
Directly Dial POIs
Any POI on the map with a phone number (e.g. restaurants, attractions) can be dialled to with just a touch on the screen.
